REGULATORY COMPLIANCE CHEMIST
The Regulatory Compliance Chemist will be tasked with understanding and fulfilling all regulatory reporting requirements, including but not limited to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MOSHA), Global Harmonization System (GHS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE), Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), and Canada’s Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). He/she will work with government agencies and possible external partners to clarify regulatory requirements. He/she will work with the R&D team to gather information and develop compliant product documentation. The Regulatory Compliance Chemist will be responsible for preparing and submitting government regulatory reports. Additionally, the Regulatory Compliance Chemist will chair the Safety Committee.
Duties and Responsibilities:

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
This is a 3-month temporary position.
The mission of the Customer Service Representative is to clearly and concisely communicate with customers about orders, deliveries, and other business via telephone, e-mail, and letters; accept/process orders via telephone, electronically, and fax; provide quality customer care; help customers with product choices and add-ons; represent the company in a professional and polished manner.
•    Use our Enterprise Resource Planning system to process and look-up orders and product information for communication to customers.
•    Know principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
•    Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, ask questions as appropriate, take notes, and gather facts without interrupting at inappropriate times. Actively look for ways to help people.
•    Exchange information primarily through telephone conversations and email transmissions with professionalism and proper use of English language at all times.
•    Multi-task answering telephones; returning customer messages; processing orders; and responding to customer and internal e-mail correspondence.
•    Use Microsoft Office competently to write customer letters and log information on Excel spreadsheets.
•    Talk to others to convey information effectively and properly.
•    Work as a team member to satisfy customers.
The Customer Service Representative should have previous customer service experience; good phone voice and great personality; proficient in Microsoft Office suite; chemical knowledge and/or background are advantages; sales experience is a strong plus.
